PROtv Social Studio
Data Deletion Instructions
Effective date: October 4, 2026 · Last updated: October 4, 2026
1. What information may be associated with PSS?
A Meta connection may include authorization credentials, available Page and linked Instagram account identifiers and names, Page management tasks, selected destinations, and connection timestamps or expiry information. PSS also stores creative drafts, uploaded and generated media, exports, publishing identifiers and links, outcomes, operational logs, and temporary image-link records on the computer running it. The video editor can retain work in browser local storage.
2. Disconnect Facebook and Instagram
- Open your local PROtv Social Studio application and go to Settings.
- Under Meta accounts, select Disconnect when a connection is present.
- PSS clears its saved Meta connection and selected account destinations. Because Facebook and Instagram use that connection, this disconnects both from PSS.
- PSS also attempts to revoke the app's Meta permissions. If the request cannot reach Meta or fails, local disconnection can still complete. Check Meta's Apps and Websites or Business Integrations settings and remove PSS there if necessary.
If you cannot access your local Studio, use Meta's account settings to revoke access, and contact us for assistance with local removal. Disconnecting is not a full-data-deletion feature: app configuration, drafts, media, exports, logs, and publishing history remain.
3. Request deletion assistance
Email contact@watchprotv.com with the subject PROtv Social Studio data deletion request. Please provide:
- The name you use for the relevant PSS or business connection.
- The Facebook Page name or public Page URL, and linked Instagram username if relevant.
- An approximate connection or publishing date, if known.
- Which information you want removed, such as connection records, local drafts/media, publishing history, or support correspondence.
- A reply email address and whether you still have access to the computer running PSS.
Provide only the information needed to identify the request. Do not include account passwords, access tokens, app secrets, payment details, or unnecessary sensitive documents. A minimal ownership or authorization check may be needed before a request can be completed.
4. What happens after a request?
We will review the request, clarify its scope when necessary, and explain what information can be removed and what action is needed from you. Information under our control will be deleted where appropriate, subject to applicable legal obligations. We will respond without undue delay and within applicable legal time limits.
Most Studio data is local to your own computer and is not automatically accessible to support. We can provide instructions, but you or the authorized device administrator may need to remove local files and browser-stored work. No remote wipe or full self-service deletion feature is currently provided. You can remove saved drafts or video projects through their existing delete controls, but this leaves original and exported media files in place. Let us know if you need help removing those separately.
5. Posts already published to Meta
Disconnecting PSS or deleting its local records does not delete Facebook or Instagram posts. Manage or delete those posts directly on the platform. Meta's own retention, backups, and privacy policies apply to information Meta has received. Contact Meta for requests concerning data controlled by Meta.
6. Limited retention
Some information may need to be retained for a legitimate legal obligation, security investigation, dispute, or record of handling the request. If such retention applies, we will explain it where permitted, limit it to what is necessary, and not treat it as permission to retain unrelated creative or connection data indefinitely.
7. Further questions
Contact contact@watchprotv.com for help. See the Privacy Policy for details about PSS information handling and the Terms of Service for responsibilities when using connected platforms.
