PROtv Social Studio
Privacy Policy

1. About PROtv Social Studio
PSS helps you create and upload artwork, prepare captions, assemble videos, save drafts, and review supported image posts before publishing to social accounts you are authorized to manage. The current Facebook and Instagram integration publishes image posts; video creation and export do not automatically publish videos.
2. Information PSS processes
- Creative inputs and content: prompts, uploaded images and videos, generated artwork, captions, headlines, branding text, calls to action, drafts, video timelines, and exports.
- Meta connection information: authorization credentials, connection and expiry information, available account identifiers and names, and your selected publishing destinations.
- Publishing records: destination information, returned post or media identifiers, post links where available, timestamps, outcomes, and error messages.
- Operational information: local job status, diagnostic logs, and temporary image-sharing link records used for Instagram publication.
- Information you choose to send in support or deletion correspondence.
The current PSS integration does not import your Facebook friends, private messages, audience lists, or followers' profiles, and does not retrieve Facebook post reach or Insights. You do not give PSS your Facebook or Instagram password; sign-in and consent take place through Meta.
3. Meta, Facebook, and Instagram integration
Connecting to Meta authorizes PSS to discover eligible Facebook Pages and linked Instagram professional accounts and to publish supported content after your explicit approval. The connection requests permissions for Page discovery, Page engagement access, Page post management, business-portfolio discovery, and Instagram account access and publishing. These permissions do not mean PSS uses every category of data Meta could make available.
4. Account and Facebook Page information
PSS processes Page identifiers, names, management tasks, and Page authorization credentials. If normal Page discovery returns no Pages, it may use granted business-management access to discover authorized portfolio Pages. It uses these results to offer eligible destinations and check that your connection corresponds to the selected Page.
5. Instagram account information
For Instagram professional accounts linked to eligible Pages, PSS processes the account identifier, name, username where available, and Page association. It uses this information to display and select the publishing destination.
6. Content submitted for publishing
Creative content remains in local Studio storage unless you export or share it, or approve publication. For an approved Facebook image post, PSS sends the final image and caption directly to Meta. For Instagram, Meta retrieves the final JPEG using a temporary, unguessable HTTPS image link, and PSS sends the caption and publishing requests. Anyone with a valid temporary image link can access that image until the link expires; do not share it unnecessarily.
The current temporary links expire after approximately 24 hours. Link expiry limits future access through PSS; it does not remove content already copied or published by Meta. Published content is subject to the audience and platform settings that apply on Meta.
7. Authentication and access tokens
PSS stores Meta authorization credentials and the app credential needed to maintain the connection. Saved credentials are encrypted, with the encryption key protected by the Windows user account. Saved access tokens are not returned by the Studio's account-status interface. This does not make a compromised computer or user account safe; protect your device and keep temporary authorization and media links private.
8. How information is used
PSS uses information to operate local creative tools, save and restore your work, authenticate authorized social connections, identify eligible destinations, publish approved content, display outcomes, reduce accidental duplicate posts, and diagnose operational failures. Support correspondence is used to respond to your request. PSS does not implement an advertising profile, tracking analytics, or the sale of personal information.
9. Data storage and security
Drafts, media, exports, connection records, and operational logs are stored on the computer running PSS. The video editor also uses browser local storage to retain in-progress work and prompt-job tracking. The Studio is designed for local access; public legal documents and the restricted Meta callback/media gateway are separate from its private controls.
Public hosting, reverse proxies, or tunnel providers necessarily process requests such as IP addresses and request metadata and may keep logs under their own policies. Public legal pages do not load Studio application scripts, use tracking cookies, or access saved Studio data. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection.
10. Data retention
The current application has no automatic expiry schedule for saved drafts, media, exports, publishing history, or local operational logs. They remain until removed from the local installation. Removing a draft or video project does not automatically remove its original or exported media files. Browser-stored work remains until cleared in the browser or relevant editor controls.
Disconnecting removes the saved Meta connection, including its stored access tokens, and clears selected destinations. The app configuration, creative work, and publishing history remain. Support correspondence may be retained while resolving a request and where reasonably needed for legal, security, or recordkeeping purposes.
11. Data deletion
You can disconnect Meta using Studio Settings. There is no current one-click deletion feature for every category of PSS data. Follow the Data Deletion Instructions to request assistance with connection data, local creative records, and other PSS-associated information. Local-only data may require action on your own computer; support cannot automatically access or erase it.
12. Third-party services and Meta Platform services
Meta processes authorization and published content under its own terms and privacy policies. See Meta's Privacy Policy. A configured hosting or tunnel provider processes public traffic under its own policies. Downloading model files contacts their hosting providers, while PSS's current artwork generation runs locally rather than sending creative prompts to a paid generation API. Email providers process correspondence you send to us.
13. Your choices
You choose what content to submit, which available accounts to select, whether to approve publication, and whether to disconnect. You may manage or revoke PSS access through Meta's account settings. A local disconnect attempts to revoke Meta permissions, but a network or platform error can prevent remote revocation; verify removal in Meta if necessary. You may clear browser-stored work and request deletion assistance. Published posts must be managed on the destination platform.
14. Children's privacy
PSS is not intended for children under 13 or anyone below the minimum age required by applicable law or the connected platform. Do not knowingly submit children's personal information without appropriate authority and legal safeguards. Contact us if you believe such information has been provided improperly.
15. Policy changes
This policy may change as PSS features or legal requirements change. Updates will appear on this page with a revised date. Review it before using new integrations or materially different data-handling features.
